However for smaller species of canines there are pee pads which make it possible for the animal to use the bathroom inside. These can be a great tool for people who cannot stay home with their animal all the time.
The fact that canines have much more energy than that of a feline makes it necessary to take your canine out on daily exercises to relieve some of that built up energy. It is also not advised to keep a canine in a small environment like an apartment because of that energy that they develop.
